Yes. Degarrin has a Pact that outlines the Coven’s various administrative duties, as well as our polity, ardaynes, creed and more.

The Magistry and Synod both have the authority to make decisions within the Coven. However, such decisions must be in accordance with the basic Vision of Degarrin.

Yes, we have worked with Pagan Education Network, the Kentucky Pagan Forum, and Lexington Bluegrass Pagan Pride, among other local groups.

No. However, we do require that each member dress appropriately for various meetings, gatherings, etc. This may entail ritual robe, casual dress, or professional attire.

No. Members have the right to payment for goods produced and/or skilled labor from which they would normally receive an income. Our members are not required or expected to provide discounts from their profession or livelihood.

Eligibility for general membership is conducted through webweaving, member referrals, or community service. Proselytization is strictly prohibited.

Members are not required or coerced to commit any illegal act or submit to any form of physical injury. As an entity created by the Divine, Degarrin is free from the rule of the governing body of the land. However, the Coven shall uphold the law of the land as long as it does not go against its religious beliefs or liberties.

Members are informed in a timely manner (usually as soon as the change is being considered) of any modifications or changes in the Pact. These updates are generally conveyed electronically.

Members have the right to discontinue association with the Coven through a Parting Rite where both parties agree and separate with a blessing. However, when members seriously violate and/or disregard Coven polity, they shall be required to leave via established membership cessation processes and are not usually eligible for re-enrollment in Degarrin.

No. Degarrin does not allow for non-members to volunteer during coven hours of operation, nor at any events that we sponsor or host.
